A Very Merry Christmas For Oklahoma if Recruiting Targets Land in Norman
The Oklahoma Sooners and first-year head coach Brent Venables hope that Wednesday's College Football National Signing Day turns out Historic for the Sooners -- particularly on the defensive side of the ball.
By most accounts, it will be just that. OU is expecting flipped commitments from Edge Rusher Tausili Akana and Top 15 Overall ranked and 5-Star Safety Peyton Bowen of Denton Guyer, a teammate of already-committed 5-Star QB from Guyer Jackson Arnold, who is expected to sign sometime Wednesday, and may do so with his best friend and hopefully continued teammate Bowen.
The Sooners also expect signatures from 4-Star Safety Daeh McCullough, 4-Star Cornerback Makari Vickers, 5-Star Edge Adepoju Adebawore, 4-Star WR Jaquaize Pettaway 4-Star OL Cayden Green, 4-Star Athlete Jacobe Johnson, 4-Star LB Samuel Omosigho, 4-Star DT, Derrick LeBlanc and many more.
