*PAC-12 "Confidence" Narrative Fools Nobody, Yet Utah Refusing to Admit Reality*
Am I the only one who finds it odd that PAC-12 fans of a school like Utah are STILL being SO Smug, Defiant, and — FRANKLY — offensive to and about the Big 12 Conference, especially when the conference their school currently occupies is essentially on life support and very well may be extinct by this time next week?
I mean, the only people claiming that there is any hope whatsoever of a deal being struck for a financial package in the same stratosphere as the Big 12’s new media rights deal with ESPN and FOX are the same folks that took Kevin Warren at his word back in 2021 when the former Big 10 commissioner agreed to not poach schools from the PAC-12 and ACC.
Just a thought, Utes fans, but you might want to allocate some of those AAU funds toward the research of a freakin clue.Oh, and that Joint Statement from George Kliavkoff and the remaining 10 Board Members of the PAC-12 that was released to the public on Monday?
Well, those two sentences didn’t quite convince anyone — except for Mr. “Utah Pig Bus (Porky)” and a few of his closest Pig Pals — that the rights to broadcast conference football is worth the $400 million annually that Ole George Boy proclaimed the PAC would net the year AFTER it watches USC, UCLA, and its largest media market walk out the door.
