HOF College Football Host Jason Watkins takes issue with The Athletic's College Football Coach Rankings after the Top 3 in articles written by Bruce Feldman and Stewart Mandel.
I know it's subjective, but James Franklin and Ryan Day ahead of Kyle Whittingham and Lance Leipold smacks of catering to the powers that be in Major College Football, because even the fan bases at Penn State and Ohio State would tell you both coaches are underachieving based on the built-in advantages at their schools in comparison to what Leipold has done at Kansas and Whittingham has achieved at Utah.
Lincoln Riley doesn't belong in front of Whittingham or Leipold either, and don't get me started with "sliced-bread" Jimbo Fisher.
