We all have to take a step back from time to time and think about the words we want to speak. Oftentimes, it's best for all involved if we just keep it to ourselves.
To all you Chris Paul fans/apologists, it's high time you omitted the words "Top 5 All-Time Point Guards" in association with Paul. And for the love of everything Holy, NEVER, EVER use the term "Point GOD" in any conversation that includes CP3 again.
And for all the point guard "Purists" who have continually refused to add Stephen Curry to their list of All-Time Greats because "He scores too much," you too should pipe down, and give Chef Steph his due.
Especially following Game 4 of the NBA Finals Saturday Night, although looking back now, it seems ridiculous that Curry wasn't already in everyone's Top 5, seeing as though he'd been named League MVP twice and was the POINT GUARD of THREE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP teams, with four appearances in the Finals.
Whatever a point guard used to look like -- from the junior level all the way to the NBA -- Curry destroyed that mold long ago. And on Saturday, he unveiled yet again what a true deity at the point looks like in real life, scoring 43 points on better than 50-percent shooting from the field, and going 7-of-14 from 3-point territory.
