* HOF College Football Podcast Host Jason Watkins and Couz from Couz's Corner argue for and against Texas & Oklahoma Paying a Full Exit Fee to leave *
Jason takes issue with Couz for saying on his show "Couz's Corner" and on Twitter that the remaining 8 Legacy Big 12 members should hold Oklahoma and Texas' "Feet to the Fire" and make them pay a full $84 Million each fee for leaving to the SEC after this season, Cincinnati, Houston, BYU & UCF and their early entry into the league.
Jason argues that since the two Bluebloods had agreed to stay in the Big 12 through the end of the current contract in 2025, and the Legacy schools told Commissioner Brett Yormark to negotiate for OU and UT to leave after 2023, that Yormark and the other schools have no basis to demand that they leave AND pay the $84 million to do so.
