The power struggle shaping the future of college football took another turn this week when SEC commissioner Greg Sankey appeared on The Paul Finebaum Show and hinted that the SEC could consider its own postseason if the current direction of the sport continues.
With proposals floating around about pooling media rights and expanding the College Football Playoff to 24 teams, Sankey made it clear the SEC is not obligated to follow everyone else.
