Nick Saban's rambling of "new" lack of competitive balance because of NIL money is laughable. No one wants to hear Nick Saban talk about level playing fields or competitive balance. The only thing Nick Saban is worried about is winning, and maintaining his dominance. Nil money is bad for Alabama and bad for Nick Saban's competitive balance. Nick Saban... just stop. No one wants to hear you talk about competitive balance. The META has shifted with the reintroduction of NIL money and the college football powerhouses do not like it. College football will never be the same, and Nobody's safe. Nick Saban is not safe on this episode of "Nobody's Safe!"
"We don't have any guardrails on what we're doing right now," Saban said. "We have no restrictions on who can do what. Some people are gonna be capable of doing certain things; other people aren't going to be capable. But the bottom line is we'll lose competitive balance.
"Which, everything we've always done in college football is to maintain competitive balance. Same scholarship, everyone had to play by the same rules whether it was recruiting or whatever. Right now that's not how it is."
