After Talking "Winning Culture" at Oklahoma State all week, in True Form, Gundy's Pokes are Crushed 48-0 on the Road at Kansas State (By the Wildcats' Backup QB) 🙄🤥🤣
For all the talk about the culture this week in Stillwater heading into the Kansas State game, Oklahoma State showed just what that culture has proven to be so often when playing meaningful football games against other Big 12 Conference Contenders in Mike Gindy's tenure.
On Saturday in Manhattan, Kansas, much like their showing in Fort Worth two weeks ago (only on a grander scale), Gundy's Cowboys folded like a cheap suit and likely lost all hopes of playing for the conference title for a second-straight season, falling behind 28-0 by the 9-minute mark of the second quarter -- and 35-0 at the half -- in what turned out to be a 48-0 thrashing at the hands of Kansas State and backup Quarterback Will Howard.
That's quite the culture, Coach. Quite the culture, INDEED.
JASON WATKINS of the Hall of Fame College Football Podcast Breaks down Saturday's College Football Action, including the Oklahoma State blowout loss to Kansas State, Texas A&M and Jimbo Fisher's fourth straight loss to Ole Miss -- the first time in a season the Aggies lost four-straight since the '80s -- as well as an important second-straight win for Gundy's cross-state rival Oklahoma Sooners and new head coach Brent Venables.
The Sooners, who had given up 41 or more points in four-straight games, showed signs of life on the defensive side of the ball in Ames, methodically taking out the Iowa State Cyclones and their Top-10 nationally-ranked defense 27-13.
