Twitter Poll Shows Most fans in Support of First-Year Sooners Coach, but Casual Detractors Are Loudly Voicing Displeasure With OU's 5-4 Record
College Football fans of the Oklahoma Sooners, by and large, believe in Brent Venables and his staff, even as OU has opened Venables' first season as head coach with a 5-4 record.

But there's a contingent of clearly "CASUAL" fans who are making lots of noise and voicing their displeasure with the first-year head coach, many saying OU should fire Venables now so that a new coach can prepare them for their impending move to the SEC, citing coaches like Lincoln Riley, Sonny Dykes at TCU and Brian Kelly at LSU having more success in their first seasons at their respective schools as reason to part ways with the former Clemson and OU defensive coordinator.

The narratives aren't near as smart as these fans believe, however, and Jason Watkins and Jalen Posey of the *JP and Trav Show* sit down to talk all the reasons that these CASUALS should settle down and give Venables and his staff time to straighten out the mess left behind by Riley when he took the best players in the program and ran off to Southern California.
