*Oklahoma RB Coach DeMarco Murray suspended for Temple Game by NCAA*
College Football is FINALLY HERE, with Week 0 already providing drama over in Ireland, and Week 1 (the official opening of the season) is sure to provide plenty of its own.
There are a number of matchups with implications for the first 12-team College Football Playoff, but even a game that can only be considered a cupcake for #16 Oklahoma garnered a little drama Tuesday when running backs coach DeMarco Murray was suspended for the Sooners opener in Norman with the Temple Owls.
Somehow it seems unlikely to turn the outcome sideways for OU, but the 7th ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish are in no such pillow fight in Week 1, as Marcus Freeman and the Irish travel to College Station, Texas for a fist fight with 20th-ranked Texas A&M.
Can #14 Clemson give Top-Ranked Georgia a run for its money in their Atlanta clash to open the season? Will Billy Napier get off the hot seat and simultaneously put Mario Cristobal on it when the Miami Hurricanes come to the Swamp to take on Napier's Florida Gators?
