*Sooners Take on Norvell's Improved Florida State Squad Hoping to End Season With a Winning Record*
We break down the Oklahoma Sooners, impending Cheez-It bowl matchup with a much improved Florida State Seminoles team, led by Mike Norvell Thursday in Orlando.
We’ll analyze and scrutinize the early returns from bowl season in terms of performance by Big 12 Conference teams following last night’s Oklahoma State loss to a Wisconsin team that fired a coach mid-season and finished ahead of only Nebraska and Northwestern in a putrid Big 10 West Division.
As an Air Force vet, I enjoy cheering for the Commander-in-Chief Trophy-Winning Falcons but — not for nothing — last year’s Big 12 and Sugar Bowl Champions aren’t supposed to lose to a service academy a year later…
We will also give our predictions for Thursday Night’s Valero Alamo Bowl matchup between the (8-4) Texas Longhorns and Head Coach Steve Sarkisian’s former team, the Washington Huskies, give you some of our other favorites as bowl season winds down ahead of the College Football Playoff, and I’ll likely toss a little more shade toward Southern Cal and Lincoln Riley as we look ahead at the SC Trojans’ New Year’s Day Cotton Bowl Matchup with the Green Wave of Tulane in Dallas.
The best part about all of it for me? I get to welcome in a new co-host who talks almost as much trash as I do, and give him a hard time about a certain safety who signed with the Sooners during last week’s early signing period.
