Negotiations remain toxic as Oklahoma and Texas attempt to free themselves from a Big 12 Conference neither they nor the rest of the league schools want them to be a part of in 2024, as talks broke down Friday amid executives from Fox College Football nixing a deal that everyone else reportedly was in agreement on.
HOF College Football Podcast Host Jason Watkins attempts to sift through the conflicting accounts and opinions around the possible early exit from the Big 12 for the Sooners and rival Texas.
Brett Yormark said Monday that talks were ongoing, but gave no indication that the deal was any closer to happening.
