Have Utah fans and Utes Athletic Director Mark Harlan finally convinced Brett Yormark that the school doesn't belong in the Big 12 after all, even if the Pac-12 Conference folds?
The Big 12 commissioner certainly seems to be hinting that league expansion may not include Harlan's University of Utah athletic programs, saying multiple times over the weekend that any invitation to join his league would only be extended to schools that fit the "culture" if over the weekend during the Big 12 Conference Basketball Championships in Kansas City.
With the amount of venom coming from the Utah AD and the school's fans that continues to flow in the direction of the Big 12 on social media, it's not hard to surmise who Yormark's comments were pointed towards.
Meanwhile, Kansas head basketball coach and new Kansas State
coach were openly campaigning for the University of Arizona and its in-state rival Arizona State to be added to the Big 12 roster
